Position Overview : The Sr. Manager, Talent Acquisition is accountable for designing, developing, and deploying the talent acquisition strategy for BWXT. This role is responsible for driving full-cycle recruitment and all ancillary actions related to talent acquisition to ensure the right talent is hired to meet current and future business needs. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong relationship management skills, high levels of business acumen, and a commitment to leveraging technology and AI to delivery best-in-class processes with high-quality results.
Your Day To Day As A Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition :
Full-Cycle Recruitment :
- Directs a team of recruiters and talent coordinators.
- Manages the recruitment process, including sourcing, candidate presentation, interview scheduling, candidate experience, travel, and tracking.
- Owns executive recruitment for the organization.
- Point of contact for temporary services needs.
Candidate Identification, Selection, & Experience :
Manages the TA spend for all external vendors and services.Partners with internal / external resources to design and deploy recruitment marketing campaigns.Maintains ownership of TA related vendors and services and makes recommendations for changes and / or enhancements.University Relations & Early Talent Programs :
Leads and influences the approach for early talent recruitment.Identifies BWXT partner schools and engagement activities.Manages the BWXT internship program.Technology & Continuous Improvement :
Utilizes Lean methodologies and tools to identify process improvements.Evaluates vendors and makes recommendations for change or enhancement.Understands market trends and themes and leverages technology to deliver best-in-class services.High comfort and interest in AI as it relates to talent acquisition strategies.Partners with leaders to forecast talent needs in alignment with business priorities and transformations.Metrics & Reporting :
Owns reporting and delivers routine updates to the business on performance against plan.Provides real-time analytics for CHRO, HRMs and operations leadership on staffing and recruiting metrics.Identifies and tracks performance metrics at the function, team and individual levels.Participates in enterprise-wide TA discussions, sharing best practices and ensuring alignment across the organization.Required Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree required.8+ years of progressive HR / TA experience, including demonstrated experience with emerging AI informed TA technologies, system integrations and ATS design.Exceptional relationship-building, communication, and influence skills across all leadership levels.High level of business acumen, sound judgment, and discretion in managing confidential matters.Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity and balance strategic insight with hands-on execution.Data-driven mindset with ability to interpret workforce analytics, deliver C-suite level reporting, and recommend action.Must be a U.S. citizen.Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) clearance, if required.This position will be based at one of BWXT's major HQ locations with required travel.Preferred Qualifications :
Master's degree is a plus.Experience in industrials, manufacturing, government contracting, or nuclear sectors is a plus.What We Offer :
