PinKU Japanese Street Food in Northeast Minneapolis is hiring a highly motivated Assistant Manager / Management Trainee to help run an operation.
Front of House AND Kitchen Experience Required. We are expanding our leadership team to support our brand as it rises to the next level!
We are roots cooking from the streets, celebrating and guarding the values of often-overlooked nuances and practices of traditional Japanese cuisine.
PinKU Japanese Street Food is open in its 5th year (with second location at the MSP airport!), offering updated classics with true spirit, fresh flavors, and ingredients that challenge the preconceived notion of what you may think about Japanese food.
What we are looking for :
Natural personality for food and initiative to run a front of house that creates unforgettable guest experience. We currently are the highest rated Japanese restaurant on Yelp / Google (4.
5 / 5 stars) in the Twin Cities and you must feel confident to maintain our standards
- Unwavering kitchen leadership to execute food and prep according to established recipes
- Excellent attention to detail and sharp restaurant intuition (you should be able to walk into any restaurant and have an idea of what its strengths and weaknesses are)
- Authentic leader to help train, mentor, develop, and hold accountable a team of 10-15 people
- Foster and enforce by example an environment of highest food safety standards and cleanliness
- Deep curiosity to learn the ins-and-outs of running a restaurant (P&L management, sales-forecasting, staffing, inventory, food cost you get the gist)
- MUST BE A NICE PERSON with NO ANGER ISSUES!!!
