Spring Arbor Senior Living in Apex, NC is seeking a full-time & part-time Supervisor Med Tech to join our team. Individuals are responsible for managing the medication administration program in accordance with state regulations. They direct Resident Assistants (RAs) and Med Techs under the guidance of the Resident Care Director.

Full-Time Shifts :

3pm-11pm

Part-Time Shifts :

3pm-11pm

• State-specific Medication Technician / Registered Medication Aide certification required (Candidates must possess to move forward in the process)
• In addition to Med Tech license, a CNA or PCA / DCS Certification is required
• High school diploma, or equivalent required
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must have and maintain CPR and First Aid certifications
• Previous leadership experience preferred

WHAT YOU WILL DO!

• Document and review medication administration, refer to residents' charts and administer medications according to physician's orders.
• Ensure that medications are being administered at appropriate times and order residents' medications in a timely manner.
• Communicate with physicians and other medical professionals regarding residents' medications, treatments, and / or therapies
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, transfer, mobility and incontinence care.
• Respond to resident emergency call system.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to RAs and Med Techs. Assist in recruiting, training, and scheduling resident care staff.
