Location : Passaic, New Jersey (07055) – Northern NJ healthcare jobs

Setting : Surgical Services – Operating Room

Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 12 / 15 / 2025 – End : 3 / 15 / 2026)

Shift : 8-hour days, Monday – Friday (7 : 00 AM – 3 : 00 PM)

Hours per Week : 40

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1750-$1870

Call : Required (No exceptions)

Open-heart experience : Required

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey

Current BLS (AHA) certification

Current ACLS (AHA) certification (within 30 days of hire)

Current PALS (AHA) certification (within 30 days of hire)

Minimum 1 year of perioperative (OR) nursing experience or on-the-job training

Open-heart surgical experience required

Pre / Post Op experience

Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) certification preferred

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

OR RN Responsibilities

Provide direct and indirect patient care in the perioperative setting for neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and older adults

Coordinate patient care with surgeons and anesthesiologists in the operating room

Supervise and guide OR Technicians and other healthcare personnel, maintaining professional nursing standards

Ensure efficient patient flow, unit maintenance, and organization in surgical services

Comply with hospital and unit policies, procedures, and regulatory standards

Participate in performance improvement activities, unit meetings, and in-service training

Serve as a resource for other nursing and clinical staff

Fulfill required call shifts as scheduled
