About This Role As the Front of House Manager, you are the captain of the floor, keeping the energy high, the service smooth, and the vibe unmistakably Ian's. You will work with the GM and AGM to ensure your FOH crew has the training, tools, and support they need to excel every shift. You will lead training and development, guide staff, give feedback, and run quarterly reviews. In addition, you will handle behind‑the‑scenes restaurant work: manager meetings, responding to messages, tackling special projects, and collaborating with leadership to keep the department running like a well‑oiled machine. Ian's Pizza is a fast‑paced, high‑volume restaurant, and you will need to thrive on hustle and teamwork. What You'll Bring To The Manager Team 1+ years of experience as a Supervisor or Shift Leader in the food and beverage industry, with specific experience in Front of House required. Embrace and embody the 2030 Vision, Company Values, Standards for Customer Service, Food Quality, and the Big Five. Must complete a food safety certification course within 6 months. Able to stand and walk for long periods, bend, crouch, and lift up to 30 lbs regularly (up to 50 lbs on occasion); this is an active job. Able to use equipment in environments with temperature changes, working with sharp knives, hot ovens, cold walk‑in coolers, etc. Reliable transportation to and from the restaurant locations for a variety of shift times, including mornings, afternoons, and nights. Bilingual in Spanish is a major plus. Scheduling and Hours Working 35–40 hours per week, you will split your time between 30–35 hours on the floor and 5–10 hours handling behind‑the‑scenes tasks such as projects, admin work, and meetings. Any time over 40 is paid as overtime. Your schedule will drop 2–4 weeks at a time, so you can plan your life and your pizza intake accordingly. The state is open Sunday–Wednesday 11am–10pm, Thursday 11am–2am, and Friday–Saturday 11am–2:30am. One late night shift per week (10pm–4am) is required. The action happens on evenings and weekends, so you will need to be present during peak hours and ready to assist when coverage is needed. Located at 100 State St, Madison, WI 53703 .
