Tax Reporting Specialist

A company is looking for a Tax Reporting Specialist responsible for reviewing and reconciling client tax reporting information.

Key Responsibilities

Review nonresident alien account documentation and update account information based on IRS reporting requirements

Prepare customer year-end IRS Forms including 1099, 1099R, 5498, and 1042-S

Review and reconcile cost basis reporting through GainsKeeper for all reportable accounts

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred

3+ years' experience with tax and cost basis reporting in the brokerage industry

Knowledge of IRS cost basis reporting regulations and nonresident alien reporting

Experience with financial processing and corporate actions

CPA is a plus
