Travel Surgical Tech I – Nights – Albany, NY

Assignment : 13 weeks

Start Date : 12 / 15

Shift : Nights, 12-hour shifts (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM)

Weekends : 1 in 3

Holidays : Rotating

On Call : Possible

Qualifications :

2+ years of Surgical Tech experience required

NBSTSA CST certification required at time of submission

Strong experience in cardiac, neuro, thoracic, ortho, and vascular surgeries

Competent in all surgical instrumentation and sterile technique

Ability to assist in high-acuity surgical procedures independently

Familiarity with hospital protocols and perioperative care standards

Responsibilities :

Prepare operating rooms, instruments, and equipment for surgeries

Assist surgeons during procedures, maintaining sterile field

Handle surgical instruments, sutures, and supplies efficiently

Anticipate surgeon needs and respond promptly during surgery

Participate in post-operative room turnover and instrument processing

Maintain patient safety and adhere to all infection control standards
