Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with a minimum of 4 years outpatient experience for a day shift position using Epic and serving a diverse patient caseload.

Responsibilities

  • Outpatient therapy setting with a focus on neuro, orthopedic, balance, spine, cardiopulmonary, geriatrics, and sports medicine cases
  • Four 10-hour day shifts per week, Monday through Thursday, from 8 : 00 am to 6 : 00 pm
  • Mandatory use of Epic EMR system with prior experience required
  • Caseload includes a variety of neuro, orthopedic, balance, spinal, cardiopulmonary, and vestibular conditions
  • Physical therapists are expected to demonstrate flexibility with scheduling and adhere to strict attendance policies
  • A 50-mile residence radius from the facility is required for consideration
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Professional references from a supervisor within the past two years are required
  • Pass / fail EKG exam is required for compliance, with two attempts permitted and no study materials provided by the facility
  • Candidates must meet compliance deadlines as outlined prior to assignment start

    • Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of recent outpatient physical therapy experience required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • NC Physical Therapist license required if applicable
  • Experience with Epic EMR is mandatory
  • Strong experience in neuro, ortho, balance, spine, geriatrics, cardiopulmonary, and sports med
  • Vestibular experience preferred
