Travel Nursing Job Details

Assignment Length : 13 weeks

Start Date : November 17, 2025

End Date : February 15, 2026

Healthcare Setting : Cardiac ICU (CVICU)

Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM)

Hours per Week : 36

Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend

Float Requirement : Float as needed to MICU, SICU, and other medical units

Charting System : Cerner

Scrub Color : Navy Blue

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1840–$1980

Unit Details

Nurse-to-Patient Ratio : 1 : 1, 2 : 1, 3 : 1 (depending on patient acuity and unit needs)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (South Carolina or compact state)

Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience (Cardiac ICU / CVICU preferred)

Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications

Previous travel nurse experience preferred

Ability to float to MICU, SICU, and other medical units as needed

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver direct patient care to critically ill patients, including post-open heart, neuro, and vascular surgery, trauma, and medical overflow

Monitor and manage advanced medical equipment and procedures (chest tubes, Swan-Ganz, temporary pacemakers, Cordis, cardiac output monitoring, JP drains, central lines, arterial lines, tracheostomy, PEG, G / J tubes)

Maintain accurate electronic documentation using Cerner

Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes

Float to other critical care and medical units as required (maximum 4 patients when floating)

Comply with hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols
