The Larson Group Peterbilt is looking for an experienced Service Foreman to join our dynamic team. The Service Foreman will exercise direct supervision of mechanic personnel. They will assist when necessary in diagnosis of customer complaints and recommending needed repairs. This person will also assist the Service Writer in greeting customers, writing repair orders and estimating the costs of repairs within set guidelines.

Responsibilities :
Daily supervision of service and maintenance techniciansSchedule and assign work as requiredCheck and review work in process and follow-up for completion as scheduledInspect and, if necessary, road test vehicles upon completion of workInform Service Manager of all customer complaints so they may be handled before the vehicle leaves the shopAssist in maintaining a clean shop and making sure that special tools and shop equipment are in proper operating conditionMake customer estimates when necessaryAssists Service Writer in opening and completing Work OrdersAct as liaison between customer and techniciansBackup Service Manager and Service Writer when neededAssist Warranty Administrator to ensure warranty claims are processed timely and correctlyPre-plan parts requirements for each job to make sure parts are available when needed by techniciansWork with Service Manager and New and Used Truck Salespersons to ensure all sold trucks are prepared properly for the customerPerform other duties as requiredQualifications :
Should possess a high school diploma or equivalentA college degree or certificate / degree from a trade school is preferred, but not requiredPrevious dealership experience is preferredMust pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen and background checkPlease note this is a safety-sensitive positionQualifications :
