About the Role

We are looking for a talented Associate Vice President to lead our Underwriting team in the E&S Excess Casualty segment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic team that redefines the underwriting process through creativity, technology, and comprehensive analytics. You will play a key role in evaluating submissions to align them with our risk appetite and business objectives, while actively generating new business through relationships with wholesale brokers and clients. Your expertise in analyzing complex risks will be essential.

Key Responsibilities :

• Review and assess insurance submissions for compliance with company standards.
• Develop new business opportunities by engaging with wholesale brokers and direct clients.
• Analyze and evaluate complex risks to facilitate informed underwriting decisions.
• Perform all underwriting activities while maintaining a client-focused approach.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to exceed client expectations.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent professional experience) and have over 7 years of experience in Excess Casualty underwriting, particularly with Wholesale E&S Excess Casualty brokers. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is required.
