Role Overview

In this rewarding position as a Student Success Coach and Mentor, you will focus on guiding and supporting elementary, middle, and / or high school students. Your mission will be to help students achieve academic success, improve their attendance, and foster positive behaviors in school.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personalized academic coaching and mentoring to students in one-on-one and small group settings.
• Assist students in developing literacy and math skills through engaging and tailored learning activities.
• Encourage active participation, assignment completion, and positive interactions among students.
• Implement effective behavior management strategies to promote a positive learning environment.
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to track and analyze student progress, participating in reviews of student data.
• Help create a safe and engaging classroom space in partnership with educators.
• Support school-wide initiatives that enhance student and family engagement.
• Conduct and facilitate after-school programming, including academic enrichment, homework support, and student clubs.
• Design and co-lead events recognizing students' achievements in various areas.
