Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Billing Specialist to join our team. This role involves managing the billing process, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining excellent customer relations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and be skilled in using billing systems and Excel.

Responsibilities

Issue and distribute invoices accurately and timely.

Process new contracts and sales efficiently.

Collaborate with other departments to ensure billing accuracy.

Address customer complaints and questions professionally.

Keep track of accounts receivable and transactions.

Assist with customer account reconciliations.

Prepare and present analytical reports.

Support monthly and quarterly audits and resolve any issues or mistakes.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in accounting, invoicing, and data entry.

Experience with billing systems and Excel, including formulas.

Strong accuracy and attention to detail in accounts payable and receivable.

Reconciliation, collection, and bookkeeping skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / Finance or relevant work experience.

3+ years of billing experience in a high-volume setting.

Work Environment

The role is based in a corporate office, requiring attendance five days a week. Flexible start times between 7 : 00 am and 8 : 30 am are available. The standard workweek is 40 hours, with options for a flexible schedule such as working nine-hour days from Monday to Thursday and leaving at noon on Fridays. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00 / hr.
