Job description
Seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgical 1st Assist APP for locum coverage near Boca Raton, FL.
- Board-certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
- Nurse Practitioner Candidates must have the RNFA Certification
- Required : 1 Year of recent, dedicated CVT Surgery experience
- Work Setting : Clinic, OR & Inpatient Service Line
- Clinical Duties / Requirements : (Mostly OR and Rounding on Patients)
- Surgical first assist
- Vein Harvesting (Maquet)
- Pre-operative & Post Operative Consults / Care
- CV / ICU rounding
- Possible clinic work
- Endoscopic Vein Harvesting (Maquet)
- Strong Suturing Skillsets
- Join a well-established practice of 3 surgeons and 2 Advanced Practitioners
- Coverage Dates : November- 18 thru 30 December, 15 thru 01 / 02 / 26
- Start time 7am / 730a and end time typically 3p
- Call responsibilities : To be discussed with client (1 : 3) Weekdays / weeknights, weekends
