Service Reliability Engineer will work on latest and greatest software stack to provide exceptional service to internal and external customers. Ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of microservices architecture with hands on experience in Kubernetes Prometheus Grafana . You will be responsible for the full-stack service reliability from APP to Database in the Oracle Cloud.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-end service ownership : design for telemetry security resiliency scalability and performance; lead sizing / architecture; drive service health reviews and process simplification.
• Incident management and prevention : lead postmortems / RCAs coordinate fixes define repair items and implement data-driven prevention and continuous improvement.
• AI / ML and GenAI delivery : design and integrate solutions such as LLMs RAG agentic workflows and conversational AI; build low-latency model serving and retraining pipelines; create PoCs in java / python and productionize them.
• Application engineering : develop performant microservices for distributed containerized cloud-native systems in java / python; apply SDLC best practices and CI / CD.
• Automation : eliminate toil by automating operational workflows recovery procedures code delivery and configuration management; build internal tools and reusable scripts / services to accelerate delivery and reduce errors.
• Observability : define and implement monitoring logging alerting and tracing strategies; establish SLOs / SLIs / error budgets; improve diagnostics and performance visibility for rapid triage.
• Cross-functional collaboration : partner with product operations and data teams to translate requirements into secure scalable solutions; communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

US : Hiring Range in USD from : $102200 to $251600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus equity and compensation deferral.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge skills experience market conditions and locations as well as reflect Oracles differing products industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off : Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position.
