Web Developer

A company is looking for a Web Developer to design and build web-based research applications in Pearl River, NY.

Key Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and maintain Django- or FastAPI-based web applications supporting scientific research workflows

Build clean, well-documented, and maintainable Python code; implement features, enhancements, and bug fixes on schedule

Integrate AI / ML components into web tools to automate analysis and visualization

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or a related field is required

2+ years of hands-on experience developing web applications using Python and Django (FastAPI or Flask acceptable) is required

Proficiency in SQL and / or MongoDB and strong understanding of database design concepts are required

Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, AJAX) is required

Familiarity with AI / ML workflows or basic understanding of biological concepts is preferred
