Allegra + Kauboi + Lobby Bar at The REMI Hotel is currently looking for Security Supervisors to join our team!

We're searching for a candidate who can :

• Responsible for recruiting security personnel and ensuring they receive proper training. This includes teaching them how to identify potential threats, handle difficult situations, and interact professionally and hospitably with guests.
• Create and manage schedules to ensure sufficient security coverage at all times, especially during busy periods like weekends or special events.
• Remain vigilant, to maintain a safe and comfortable environment.
• When conflicts arise—such as fights, disruptive patrons, or emergencies—de-escalate the situation, address bad actors, ensure that first aid is provided if needed, or contact law enforcement.
• Ensure that the establishment is in compliance with local laws and regulations, such as occupancy limits, age restrictions, and alcohol service guidelines, while hospitably maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
• Document all security incidents, prepare detailed reports for bar management, and maintain records to address liability concerns or identify areas for improvement.
• Maintain clear communication with the security team, bar staff, and guests, offering instructions, feedback, and coordination with local authorities when necessary.
• Ensure that radios, stanchions, etc are in good repair and that the security team knows how to use them effectively.
• Regularly assess potential risks—such as crowd control challenges or vulnerabilities at entry points—and implement measures like adjusting the flow of guests or updating security protocols to minimize those risks.
• Despite the focus on security, remain approachable, hospitable, and professional; contributing to a welcoming and safe atmosphere.
