Certified Coder II

A company is looking for a Coder II.

Key Responsibilities

Document and assign CPT, ICD-9 / 10, and HCPCS codes into billing systems

Maintain organizational coding production and quality standards

Review and resolve coding denials and perform NCCI and MUE edits

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

Coding Certification as CCS or CCS-P from AHIMA or CPC from AAPC

Minimum of three years of physician coding experience

Knowledge of medical records coding, documentation requirements, and medical terminology

Ability to work independently or as part of a team while managing multiple priorities
