Job descriptionStop pay : $15- $33per stop Securing pay : $1 per 1000 pounds secured Average hours weekly : 55 Bonuses : Referral bonus : $5,000 Quarterly safety bonus Service awards Paid via direct deposit weekly Great company benefits starting the 1st of the month following 60 days : Company paid life insurance and short term disability Additional insurance : Long term disability, voluntary life, AD&D, accident, critical illness 401K with company matchafter 60 days employed 7 Paid company holidays 5 Days PTO after 90 days employed 3 days paid orientation with travel expense reimbursement Paid quarterly safety training Perks : PrePass, comdata card, uniforms, 24 / 7 driver amenities at corporate office Passenger program available after 90 days of employment Home Time : Home daily Schedule : Monday - Friday Shift : Starting at 6pm Route : Dedicated route from Romulus, MI to the terminal in Fort Recovery, OH and back Level of Touch : No loading or unloading, must secure freight Newer model Kenworth, Peterbilt, and Freightliner trucks Automatic transmission Governed speed : 68mph ELD equipped using Samsara Outward facing camera Must be at least 21 years of age Must have CDL A license Must have a minimum of 6 months verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience Must have hazmat & tanker endorsements or be willing to obtain within 60 days of employment No felony in the past 7 years No alcohol related offense in the past 5 years Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen Hiring Radius : Drivers must live within 40 miles of Taylor, MI Transportation
Cheeseman Transport is hiring CDL A dedicated local dry van drivers in Taylor, MI. Drivers will be hauling forklifts, tow motors and their parts in 53ft dry van trailers. Compensation
- Average weekly pay : $1,200
- Pay based on miles and stops
Paid practical miles, paid for all miles loaded or empty
5-10 stops per day
Sign-on bonus : $1,500
