Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN with MI licensure, BLS certification, and competency in both circulating and scrubbing roles.

Responsibilities

Work in the Operating Room of an acute care hospital

Day shifts with a schedule of 4x10 hour shifts from 7 : 00 to 17 : 30

Six call shifts required within each six week schedule

One weekend shift required per six week schedule

Holiday coverage required according to rotation

Candidates may float within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals as needed

Cerner is the charting system used and experience is required

Scrub color is provided by the facility

Candidates must complete up to 8 hours of required online modules prior to start

Professional conduct is strictly enforced and contract may be ended for policy violations

Team collaboration is essential in a sensitive work environment

Must be willing to work one of three major holidays if requesting time off during the holiday season

Requirements

Active MI RN license required (pending licenses accepted if active by start date)

BLS certification required

Minimum 2 years of recent OR RN experience required

Competency with both circulating and scrubbing duties required

Cerner charting experience required

Da Vinci XI robotic experience is preferred

Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility

First-time travelers are not accepted

Returning travelers must have a minimum of 3 years since last assignment at this facility
