About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Third-Party Risk Management. The successful candidate will be responsible for the execution of the Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) program, with a focus on the highest risk-rated third parties. This role requires strict adherence to TPRM policies and procedures, as well as compliance with a range of regulatory bodies. The VP will be the primary TPRM support partner for various stakeholders, including subject matter experts, business unit risk managers, and management. Major responsibilities include strategic planning, addressing trigger events, preparing TPRM portfolios, and providing oversight for outsourced TPRM activities. The role also involves ensuring the completion of the third-party lifecycle phases, managing issues and risks, and maintaining the quality of documentation in TPRM systems. Applicants for this role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree and at least 7 years of experience in third-party management, with a strong background in the financial services industry. A broad view of the industry, particularly in areas such as capital markets, asset management, broker-dealer, finance, treasury, and risk management, is essential. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of operational risk management programs and frameworks, as well as significant experience in managing complex third-party relationships. Strong analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills are required, along with the ability to work across diverse stakeholders. A commitment to protecting the organization from risk exposure and experience with MS Office, Archer, Ariba, and Teams is preferred.
