Behavioral Health Care Technician Job Description :

BHT ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

• Daily interactions with residents.
• Engaging residents with daily activities.
• Medication administration and recording medication accurately.
• Creating, Maintaining, and organizing resident files.
• Organizing resident appointments and transportation.
• School drop-off and pick-up in facility van.
• Participating in CFT, IEP Meetings etc.
• Preparing daily meals, maintaining a clean, healthy, and safe facility.
• Personnel, room, and facility contraband searches.
• Deescalating and / or redirecting residents in moments of crisis.
• Following emergency and safety procedures for any moments of crisis.
• Writing incident reports when needed.
• Assisting in the personal care of residents.
• . Other duties as assigned.
