About The Position

Job Title : Respiratory Therapist

Profession : Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics

Duration : 26 weeks

Shift : Night

Hours per Shift : 12 hours

Experience :

Must have critical care experience in a high-volume environment.

Prior NICU / pediatric experience is required.

1 year of travel experience is required.

License :

Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner by the State Board of Medicine.

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).

Certifications : BLS

ACLS

NRP

PALS

Must-Have :

Epic experience is required.

Familiarity with all modes of mechanical ventilation and non-invasive ventilation is essential.

Experience with specific equipment such as Servo I, V60, Nitric, 3100A, 3100B, and Jet is necessary.

Description :

The position involves working with Neonates and Pediatrics.

Candidates should be proficient in using various treatment modalities within the PICU / NICU setting.

Experience in adult care will also be considered.

The role requires assisting in high-risk deliveries and supporting respiratory care for critically ill patients.

Candidates must be skilled in troubleshooting high-pressure alarms and understanding the interpretation of arterial blood gases.

Additional skills required include aerosol setups, CPAP / BiPAP management, and tracheostomy care / management.

Candidates should demonstrate the ability to work in a team with interdisciplinary support services.

The position demands flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
