Industrial Maintenance Mechanic - 2336321

Our Industrial Maintenance Technicians are an integral part of our Ice Cream Manufacturing Plant using their knowledge and ability to maintain our production facility. The Industrial Maintenance Technician must be flexible and respond to growing and changing needs of the company to meet our production demands. Our technicians perform highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain our facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems, and processes to support the achievement of the plant's business goals and objectives.

Important to note :

• This is a 2nd shift role (2pm - 10 : 30pm)
• This has required rotating weekends (6 days one week - 5 days the next)
• Significant OT opportunity available - ~48+ hours per week

Essential Duties & Responsibilities :

Performs highly diversified tasks to install, maintain and repair production machines at the facilities manufacturing plant.

Hands on experience in chain / gearbox driven systems.

Electrical, Welding, and Plumbing knowledge is a big plus.

Diagnoses problems and replaces or repairs parts, tests, and makes adjustments.

Completes PMs within the production facility on various equipment, including but not limited to Steam Supply, Air Supply, Refrigeration, Water Supply, Air Handling Systems, and production equipment.

Troubleshoots electronic / electrical components, including (3 phase 480 volt) equipment and low voltage 24 VDC

Complies with OSHA Safety and Health rules.

Performs other projects and or duties as assigned.

Use of various hand and power tools (drill press, Grinders, torches etc.)

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions :

Must possess strength, stamina, and mobility to regularly perform heavy physical work, (lifting 50-100lbs). Working outdoors in all weather conditions and with exposure to potentially hazardous conditions.

Stooping, Kneeling, Climbing frequently

Subject to extreme heat, humidity and cold

Sufficient noise up to at least 92 DB's

This is a 2nd shift position, must be able to work nights (And weekends as needed).

Experience Required

3-5 years of maintenance experience

Working knowledge of dairy processing equipment and plant facilities preferred.

Must be able to read, write and speak English.

Must be 18 years or older

1.00 Differential for 2nd Shift schedule

2nd Shift 2 : 00pm - 10 : 30pm
