Senior Project Manager

Aerotek is currently seeking a Project Manager for a design-build general contractor dedicated to delivering high-quality, innovative construction solutions from concept to completion. Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of project management experience within a general contracting environment, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked in design-build delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of construction projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution.
• Oversee design coordination, procurement, permitting, and field operations.
• Manage project budgets, contracts, and change orders to ensure financial success.
• Communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Supervise project teams, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency at all stages.
• Forecast project risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies.
• Deliver projects on time and within budget while exceeding client expectations.

Qualifications

Minimum 10 years of project management experience with a general contractor (design-build experience preferred but not required). Proven success managing multiple large-scale commercial construction projects. Strong technical understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and cost control. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, or similar). Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.

This is a permanent position based out of Waukesha, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
