Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN)

License : Active Iowa RN License

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, MOAB

Must-Have :

• Must have the ability to comfortably and confidently read EKG / ECG, including all Tele-related duties and responsibilities.
• Experience with EPIC EMR is required.
• Completed skills checklist within 1 year of submission date with a passing score of 80% on Basic Dysrhythmia Assessment.

Description :

As a member of the interdisciplinary team, you will contribute professional nursing knowledge and skills to the provision and management of patient care.

You will apply the nursing process in daily patient management.

You may float to various areas, including Behavioral Health, Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit, and some post-procedural areas.

You will monitor patients with telemetry and handle drips including heparin, insulin, lasix, amiodarone, diltiazem, and digoxin.

You will participate in holiday rotations, including working two of three winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving).

You will work every other weekend and handle ratios of 1 : 6 for patient assignments.

Your experience must include reading rhythm strips and identifying dysrhythmias.

You will work nights on a schedule of 3 twelve-hour shifts per week.

You are required to provide references and proof of a taxable address as part of the verification process.
