Manifest Solutions is currently seeking a Cloud Engineer for a hybrid position in Columbus, OH.
- Administer and optimize all existing cloud-based ecommerce daily operations, ensuring a secure and reliable environment for our customers and franchise partners.
- Implement and maintain comprehensive monitoring of the environment and partner with respective teams for effective automated alerting.
- Establish anomaly parameters and oversee the response and repair of alerts.
- Lead recovery efforts during critical hardware or software failures.
- Execute thorough root-cause analysis and implement all opportunities to avoid repeat scenarios.
- Gauge the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems / services; assist in development and implementation strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.
- Lead the creation of a mature disaster recovery plan and execute periodic coordinated disaster recovery tests.
- Build, maintain, and present cloud architecture diagrams and documentation which represent the cloud ecosystem.
- Serve as the liaison and primary relationship manager with external cloud partners who deliver system-related products and services.
- Provide oversight and support of the cloud data management strategy, systems, and techniques.
- Actively monitor the cloud industry for new trends and technologies.
- Provide consultative direction and strategy for the organization roadmap.
- Execute exploratory adoption tests and lead full adoption implementation as advised.
Minimum requirements
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in cloud engineering.
- Some experience with Cloud DevOps and Cloud Network.
- Experience in various aspects of cloud technology
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner.
