Staff Accountant

Wichita State University Foundation and Alumni Engagement (WSUFAE) is looking to hire a passionate, detail-oriented, dedicated, and self-motivated individual as the Staff Accountant on our finance team. As a Staff Accountant, you will play a key role in managing and reporting scholarship funds, supporting financial operations, and contributing to the overall stewardship of donor resources. The job duties for this position include :

• Scholarship Fund Compliance, Audit & Review

Review, reconcile, and record scholarship fund activity to ensure compliance with donor intents and with internal policies, university policies, and local and state regulations.

Review documentation forms and set up new funds in Raisers Edge and Financial Edge

Assist with the month-end and year-end closing processes.

Provide backup assistance for accounts payable, including invoice processing and vendor payments.
