Staff Engineer, Product Verification (PV)

Spirent is hiring a Staff PV Engineer for our R&D cloud team. In this role, you will collaborate with the product team and product managers to develop Spirent's CloudSure solution.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or another Technical Discipline from an accredited university, or equivalent work experience.Minimum eight (8) years of relevant hands-on software product verification work experience.Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.Expertise with private cloud infrastructures, specifically Kubernetes and Helm.Experience with public clouds (AWS, Azure).Strong proficiency with test automation frameworks and scripting using Python or other languages.Strong proficiency with automating regression tests and maintaining regression systems (for example, using Jenkins).Strong proficiency with Selenium and TestComplete or other UI automation tools.Strong proficiency with RDBMS or NoSQL DB.Experience with GitHub or equivalent version control web-based repositories.Experience with JIRA or similar tracking system in an agile development environment.Experience with using or managing OpenShift is a plus.Exposure to Grafana and creating dashboards and panels is a plus.Experience with OpenStack is a plus.Excellent communication skills both oral and written.Annualized Salary Wage Range : $119,000 - $148,000Spirent applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience at or in line with the minimum requirements.
