10034 - Software Engineer I

Location - Fountain Valley, CA

PURPOSE :

Position is responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, and implementing software projects and tasks. Directly interfacing with user clients about their systems and ensuring their system is functioning correctly.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

  • Analyze all user requests to determine if a change to the system is necessary.
  • Work with users on a day-to-day basis to answer any system questions or concerns they may have.
  • Analyze, design, develop, and implement projects / program changes to your system.
  • Coordinate and work with other HAEA groups when integration projects / issues arise.
  • Work with all outside vendors that interface with your system when necessary.

REQUIREMENTS :

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 1-2+ years of related experience
  • Java-based API backend development using Spring Framework
  • Experience in working environments using Agile (SCRUM) and Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies
  • Experience working on Web Services including SOAP, WSDL, RESTful Web Services, Microservices, JAX-RS, and JAX-WS
  • Experience in developing, deploying, and managing N-tier server-centric enterprise J2EE applications using Eclipse IDE with Java web technologies like Servlets, JSPs, JSTL, JSF, and JNDI
  • Experience in developing Microservices using Spring Boot framework
  • Experience in development and deployment of applications using JBoss, Tomcat server
  • Good understanding of design patterns like Singleton, DAO, Session Façade, Front Controller, and Delegate Pattern
  • Good communication skills – Oral and Written

    • CERTIFICATIONS

  • AWS certification is a plus

    • Salary Range

  • Salary Range :  $72,940 - $104,302 per yr.
