Job Description

CHI St. Alexius is looking for locum IR coverage. Client needs IR general (stroke capabilities are preferred but not required). The coverage is an 8 hour day, generally anywhere between 8a-4p with evening call 4p-8a, and 24 hour call on the weekends.

• Vascular access devices / PICCS
• Central lines
• Port a cath insertions
• IVC Filters
• TIPS
• Aspiration / drainage procedures
• Percutaneous Needle Biopsies (Above & Below diaphragm, and Bone)
• Extractions (Biliary & Renal)
• Abscess drainage
• Thoracentesis
• Paracentesis
• Myelopgraphy
• Pain management procedures
• Perc. Transhepatic Choleangiogram
• Blood patch
• Joint / epidural injections
• Vertebroplasty
• Arthrograms
• Chest tube insertion
• Uterine artery embolization
• Liver Y90 / Tace
• Gastrostomy tube insertion
• Nephrostomy / ureteral stent insertion
• Renal fistulograms,
• Cryoablation
• Preferred but not required : Neuro (head) stroke thrombectomy

Deal breakers : Client needs a provider with IR general experience. Stroke capability would be secondary but must be able to perform the list of general IR procedures first.
