WILL TAKE LOCALS - Local rate (less than 75 miles)

36hr guarantee

CHARGE NURSE EXP PREFERRED

Up to date resume that includes 2+ years of experience in ICU, SICU, CTICU, Trauma ICU, MS ICU, or Neuro ICU and documents travel experience.

Current AHA ACLS , BLS, NIHSS

ACTIVE NY License

EMR Exp Required : EPIC

Job Description : Unit : ICU

Shift : 6 : 30p-7a (Block Scheduling is never promised or guaranteed)

Must have experience with CRRT and Prismaflex

Heart experience HIGHLY preferred - Manager looking at these as priority!

Floating Required : Yes

Scrub Color : Navy

Unit Specifics :

Beds : 42 beds (East 20, West 22), Neuro / Med : 22, CTICU : 6, Surg / Trauma : 14

Floating required if needed : To all units except Behavioral and ER (unless holding)

Common patient diagnosis : Neuro / Med -Strokes, Sepsis, AMS, Neuro Intervention (TCAR), Resp Failure, CHF, Post Stemi

CTICU- CV surg, Cardiogenic Shock, AAA Surg / Trauma- Trauma, Major post-op sx

Specialty equipment used on unit : IABP, CRRT (PRISMA or NxStage) Ventriculostomy, ICP monitoring, TTM (Artic Sun)
