Overnight Pharmacist (7 on / 7 off) Compensation

The pay for this position is $64.27 per hour.

Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment.

A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates.

Overnight Pharmacist (7 on / 7 off) Highlights

This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs.

The required availability for this position is overnight, 7 on / 7 off, 9 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM.

Overnight Pharmacist (7 on / 7 off) Responsibilities

Accept and dispense prescription medications accurately.

Monitor patient medication compliance and over-usage patterns.

Ensure medications are prescribed, stored, and supplied according to law.

Maintain confidential patient records and pharmacy files.

Educate patients on medications, including usage, side effects, and interactions.

Provide patient services such as smoking cessation, blood pressure monitoring, and cholesterol management.

Educate patients on proper use of medical devices (e.g., glucose meters, blood pressure monitors).

Compound medications for internal and external use; prepare sterile solutions.

Supervise pharmacy staff including technicians and clerks.

Maintain inventory of pharmaceutical and medical supplies.

Identify drug-related problems and communicate with physicians and healthcare teams.

Overnight Pharmacist (7 on / 7 off) Requirements

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.

Active NY State Pharmacist License.

High School Diploma or GED.

Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days.

Overnight Pharmacist (7 on / 7 off) Preferred Qualifications

Experience in long-term care or closed-door pharmacy.

Strong knowledge of drug interactions, medication therapy management, and pharmacy laws.

Excellent communication and supervisory skills.
