Experience :

• 24 months of role experience is required from any number of months.
• 12 months of Telemetry Unit experience is preferred from any number of months.
• Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.

Requirements :

50 miles from facility to be submitted.

Manager to make schedule, will consider blocked schedule based on unit needs.

Weekend and Holiday Requirements : Every other

Floating Requirements : All areas as helping hands, PCU for full patient load of PCU, MS for full patient assignment, some ER Holds / boarding - First to float

Beds : 32

Nurse Patient Ratios : 1 : 4-5, occasional 5-6 on nights, PCU level care overflow on the unit 1 : 3

Common diagnosis / Types of patients : adults and geriatrics, Cardiac caths, EP studies, pacers, and ETOH, Covid BiPap, occasional general surgical with heart history, medical patients with cardiac history, pneumonia covid, acute on chronic conditions, influenza, sepsis

Experience or ‘Must have’ skills Tele / cardiac RN wanted with PCU experience

Are RN’s required to titrate drips? : Yes - Common titratable & / or set rate drips : Amio, Cardizem, Heparin, Nitro, Nipride, Lasix, (low dose Dopamine), No Levo

MUST be able to read strips

Additional Notes : More of a tele / cardiac unit

Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and / or Dignity.

RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
