Job descriptionImpactful Work : As a Rad Tech, you’ll perform high-quality radiographic procedures independently, providing crucial diagnostic information that directly impacts patient care. State-of-the-Art Technology : The department prides itself on staying at the forefront of medical imaging technology. We work on keeping our equipment updated and current, with strong support from our administration and foundation. Supportive Team Environment : Our staff genuinely cares about each other, creating a responsive and lighthearted atmosphere. Credentials : Current ARRT RT(R) credential required. If registry-eligible, you must obtain credentials within six (6) months of hire. Licensing : An unencumbered Oregon license in Radiologic Technology is required. New graduates will need a temporary license upon hire and a permanent license within six (6) months. Certifications : Healthcare Provider BLS certification is required. Experience : Previous experience in a hospital setting is preferred. Adaptability & Social Perceptiveness : You’re skilled at responding to the needs of diverse patient populations and can adapt your approach to provide the best possible care. Communication & Medical Knowledge : You’re a clear communicator with a solid understanding of medical terminology and procedures. Confidentiality & Tech Proficiency : You’re well-versed in HIPAA regulations and adept at navigating health information technology. Customer Service Excellence : You’re committed to meeting patient needs and maintaining high standards of service. Safety & Mechanical Knowledge : You have a strong understanding of safety protocols and equipment operation. Stress Management & Time Management : You thrive in high-pressure situations and can effectively manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
