Shannon is seeking a Board-Certified / Board-Eligible (BC / BE) Anesthesiologist to join our exceptional healthcare team in beautiful San Angelo, TX. In this role, you will perform surgical anesthetics, including comprehensive regional anesthesia for a variety of surgical specialties. You will collaborate with our skilled CRNA team and be an integral part of providing anesthesia care across a wide range of complex and specialty-driven surgeries. Our medical center offers services and specialties not typically found in rural settings, providing a rewarding opportunity for clinical practice in a supportive environment. We have a 98% physician retention rate with our specialty group of more than 40 specialties.

Key Responsibilities :

• Administer anesthesia for a wide range of surgical specialties, including interventional and non-interventional cardiology, obstetrics, urology, cardiothoracic, neurosurgery, otolaryngology, orthopedics, and general surgery.
• Perform comprehensive regional anesthesia techniques.
• Collaborate with our CRNA team to ensure safe and effective anesthesia management.
• Provide preoperative and postoperative care and consultations for patients.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia as necessary throughout procedures.
• Respond promptly and effectively to any adverse reactions to anesthesia.
• Maintain accurate and detailed anesthesia records.
• Stay current with developments in anesthesia practice and technologies.
