Key Responsibilities :
- Operate washing machines and dryers to clean residents' clothing and facility linens.
- Follow proper laundry procedures and maintain a schedule to ensure a constant supply of clean linens.
- Apply appropriate treatment to stained fabrics as required.
- Fold, sort, and distribute clean laundry to resident rooms and storage areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized laundry area.
- Adhere to infection control and safety policies in all laundry practices.
- Collaborate with the housekeeping team to manage linen inventory.
Qualifications :
- Experience with laundry operations, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of laundry equipment and proper fabric care.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Physical capability to lift and move heavy items and stand for extended periods.
