The Department of English & Comparative Literature at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill invites applications for a full-time Assistant Professor in Digital Humanities with an anticipated start date of July 1 2026. We are committed to hiring an exceptional teacher / scholar who brings energy and a fresh perspective to their research pedagogy and service. The successful candidate will teach 2-2 courseload made up of graduate and undergraduate courses; contribute to both undergraduate and graduate curricula; mentor students; participate in select administrative activities; develop significant digital projects; and engage in ongoing scholarly research.
