Position Overview :
Join MMI Engineered Solutions as a Finance Intern and gain valuable hands-on experience in the dynamic field of finance.
This paid internship offers an exciting opportunity for junior or senior college students pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist the US Operations team in processing Accounts Payable paperwork, from completion to the check run.
- Support US Operations in processing Accounts Receivable invoicing paperwork for US Component Products.
- Aid in monitoring discrepancies and issues with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
- Conduct research to identify the sources of discrepancy issues and collaborate with the responsible departments for resolution.
- Compile data and assist in preparing monthly metrics as required.
- Contribute to other accounting projects as needed.
Qualifications :
- Currently a Junior or Senior enrolled in a Bachelor's program in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with demonstrated experience.
- Sound knowledge of relevant accounting functions, systems, and procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to interact professionally and effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Strong attention to detail and a solid work ethic.
- Effective problem analysis and problem-solving abilities.
