MEDICAL AIDE-HOMES
- POSITION SUMMARY
- Administers medications under the direction of an RN or LPN. Knowledge of medications and their procedures to ensure safe administration.
Requires numerical ability and clerical perception. Follows the 5 rights of medication administration to ensure accurate and timely administration of medications.
- May be asked to work as CNA to assist when needed.
- MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Licenses and Certifications Required
- Current North Dakota MedAide II or MedAide III certification
- Current North Dakota CNA certification
- CPR certified
- Educational Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience Requirements
- 1-2 years CNA experience preferred, but not required
- Special Skills or Training Requirements
- Must be organized
- Good communication skills
