Salary : Purpose
Purpose
The Traffic Control Flagger coordinates and oversees traffic control, flagging and signing for all divisions.
Job Responsibilities
- Place signs, barricades, and traffic cones.
- Follow all safety precautions to protect motorists and construction workers.
- Coordinate traffic signals with construction crews and other flaggers.
- Ability to interact with public and coworkers.
- Ability to think clearly and remain alert at all times.
- Strong work ethic, desire to learn, and commitment to safety.
- Ability to tolerate work in extreme temperatures and stand for long periods of time (up to 14 hours at a time).
Requirements
- Experience preferred but not required
- Able to pass a drug test
- Valid driver's license
- Clean driving record for past 3 years
- Flexible hours Must be able to work weekends
