Fast-paced, dynamic, and proactive, YouTube’s Trust & Safety team is dedicated to making YouTube a safe place for users, viewers, and content creators around the world to create, and express themselves. Whether understanding and solving their online content concerns, navigating within global legal frameworks, or writing and enforcing worldwide policy, the Trust & Safety team is on the frontlines of enhancing the YouTube experience, building internet safety, and protecting free speech in our ever-evolving digital world.

In this role, you will apply critical thinking and leadership skills to analyze risks and opportunities presented by GenAI models and product features, designing a responsibility strategy that balances both. You will synthesize expertise across cross-functional teams to prioritize issues, create testing strategies, and implement risk mitigation measures. Your responsibility extends beyond launch to include post-launch monitoring and analysis for ongoing safety and emerging trends.

Responsibilities

• Think logically and work effectively in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment while influencing cross-functionally and cross-geographically with all levels of management
• Function as a critical thinker and take the lead as needed
• Manage multiple executive stakeholders, influencing safety strategy and operational execution at all levels
• Make business decisions, including identifying gaps or business needs, and innovating and scaling solutions
• Analyze ML model performance or work on Large Language Model (LLMs) and data analytics using statistical analysis and hypothesis testing
