Description :

The manager has up to 48 hours to decline, interview, or review after receiving the work order outlining how to proceed.

Position specialty includes an Intermediate Care Center.

Shift is 19 : 00 to 07 : 30 on nights.

There is no call requirement.

Every other weekend is required.

One holiday is required per 13-week assignment.

Floating is required based on unit needs.

Patient ratios are 1 : 4-5 based on acuity.

Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of experience.

First-time travelers are accepted.

Candidates must have ACLS and BLS certifications.

Locals are not accepted; candidates must be over 50 miles away.

Pending licenses are accepted as long as they are active by the start date.

Requests for time off will be considered per contract.

Guaranteed hours are 36.

Special requirements include telemetry and IV start skills.

The facility type is a short-term acute care setting with 244 staffed beds.

Scrub color is royal blue.

Charting system used is Cerner.

The unit supports high acuity patients with various diagnoses.

Daily census is approximately 26 patients.

The unit has interdisciplinary support services.

Candidates should be willing to float to different levels of care.

Travelers must adhere to professional conduct expectations.

Completion of required modules within a week of signing is expected.

Travelers must ensure they meet all certification requirements prior to starting.
