We have an opening for a Part / Full-time Reception (likely 30 hrs / week) at a physician's office located in Southlake, TX!
Office is for a single surgeon; small, intimate office with a small number of employees.
We are looking for a friendly, professional, detail-oriented, punctual, reliable, and energetic person. You must be confident, non-confrontational, able to multi-task, and have exceptional customer service.
You must be able to cross cover, and help out wherever needed. We are a no nonsense drama free office. You must have excellent computer skills, experience with eClinical Works EMR is a plus.

Summary :
Excellent schedule - Monday through Friday 9a-4 : 00p, final work hours will be determined by office manager
Essential Functions :
- Organizes and maintains a filing system for electronic patient charts, including generation of charts and updating information (insurance, demographics, medications).
- Answers telephone and either responds to inquiry, directs caller to appropriate personnel, or initiates a triage slip for response by medical personnel.
- Schedules appointments and enters appointment date and time into computerized scheduler.
- Conducts reminder calls to all patients.
- Greets and directs patients, salespeople, and visitors.
- Registers patients by verifying that patient's record is up to date and accurate. Makes appropriate changes in computer system and on patient's chart.
- Coordinates referrals for patients through insurance and other physician offices or specialists.
- Prepares all billings in computerized system for processing by finance.
- Collects payment from patients and reconciles daily cash reports.
- Looks for ways to improve and promote quality; demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.
- Ability to identify and solve problems in a timely manner; gathering and analyzing information skillfully, developing alternate solutions.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills; listening skills are essential while remaining open to other ideas and trying new things.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Education / Experience :
- One year certificate from college or technical school with concentration in front office support for medical settings
- At least three years experience in an occupational health clinic or ambulatory care clinic or office.
Knowledge and Skills :
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of Internet software, Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
- Knowledge of medical record filing and coding systems and medical terminology preferred

Pay : $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
