SUSTAINABILITY ANALYST

More than 280 of our projects — a combined total of $24 billion in construction — have achieved certification under frameworks such as LEED, WELL, Fitwel, SITES, and Green Globes, and over 100 of our projects in design now are actively pursuing these certifications and others including Living Building Challenge. Vanderweil is a founding signatory of both the AIA2030 and the MEP 2040 Challenges, pledging to reduce and ultimately eliminate both the operational and embodied carbon in our infrastructure. As a Sustainability Analyst , you will collaborate internally with our sustainability project managers, project managers, and engineers as well as externally with our design & construction partners to help clients reach and exceed their sustainability goals. You will help clients to maximize the full potential of each project through our design experience; energy, daylight, water, and carbon analyses; and certification achievements.

Some of your responsibilities will include the following : [p1] [DL2]

• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including owners, architects, project managers, mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, plumbing engineers, contractors, and other design professionals from early design through construction and project closeout.
• Perform and document renewable energy, carbon, wellness, water, daylight, etc. analyses for project goals and certifications (LEED, Living Building Challenge, WELL, etc.).
• Organize, advise, and track design and construction activities toward a sustainable performance goal such as a certification or client standard
• Develop in-house tools and educational content for new sustainability trends and design approaches.

This position has a salary range of $60,000 to $80,000 and eligible for straight time pay after 40 hours depending on years of experience, licensure, skill sets and education.
