Pay Information $2,567 per week About The Position Job Title : Pediatric ER Registered Nurse Profession : Registered Nurse Specialty : Pediatric Emergency Room Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night or Day Hours per Shift : 12 hours Experience : Minimum 2 years in Emergency Department License : Registered Nurse license required Certifications : ACLS, BLS, MAB, PALS Must-Have : - Pediatric Emergency Department experience preferred - Previous charge experience preferred - Ability to work weekends Description : Pediatric Emergency Room RN positions available with variable shift times. 3 shifts of 12 hours starting on December 1, 2025. No request for time off is preferred, with a maximum of 7 days if absolutely needed and no holidays. Open to first-time travelers. The unit experiences a high volume of patients, seeing over 116,000 last year, with an average of 384 in winter. This facility is a Level I trauma center and does not divert. There are designated areas for triage and a fast track area for urgent cases. Nurses will run their own codes internally. The patient population includes individuals up to 25 years of age. Interdisciplinary support includes respiratory services, interpretation services, pharmacy, and social services. ED technicians are available to support each nurse. Travelers may float to different units as needed. Nurses will manage a variety of emergency situations, including but not limited to respiratory failure, trauma, and infectious diseases.
