What You Can Expect :

The RN will assist with the following :

Chart review and patient optimization – focus on complex patients, but not limited to them

Manage and update the waitlist – Following up on labs, EKGs, coordinating care for the patient through other specialty departments – cardiology, pulmonology, PCP, peri-op clinic, etc.

Create and manage epic reports for Same Day Cancelations

Scheduling and rescheduling of patients for procedures and clinic appts

Prior authorizations of procedures

Same Day Cancel review for OPGI and IPGI, Unplanned admissions

Work collaboratively with Clinic Triage and Front Desk staff

Liaison between PAT, Peri op clinic, and anesthesia

Communicates and Collaborates with Providers, leaders, and staff from all specialties – Pulmonology, Cardiology, Anesthesiology, Internal medicine or Primary Care Providers

Manage and follow all clinic prior authorizations for medications

Other duties as assigned
