About The Position

Job Title : Operating Room Registered Nurse

Profession : Registered Nurse

Hours per Shift : 8 hours

Experience : Minimum 2 years required

License : Must have an in-state license and required certifications

Certifications : BCLS, ACLS, CNOR preferred, PALS preferred

Must-Have :

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an operating room setting
• Charge experience preferred
• Experience with Cerner charting system preferred

Description :

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse.

The nurse will work in a high-paced environment with various surgical specialties.

Expected patient ratios are 1 : 1.

The nurse will rotate being on-call with the team during weeknights and weekends.

Travelers must work 2 out of 3 major holidays.

The role requires scrubbing in for surgical procedures.

Experience in Neuro and Ortho surgeries, as well as General, Urology, Endo / Laparoscopic, and Podiatry is required.

Robotics experience in Vascular, Thoracic, Plastics, and ENT is preferred.

The team consists of a diverse group of support services, including IV teams and physical therapy.

All surgical specialties except for transplant surgeries will be performed in the operating rooms.

Candidates must be willing to float within the facility as needed.

This position supports the needs of a busy operating room environment.
