ER RN Job Details – Flagstaff, AZ

Location : Flagstaff, Arizona (86001) – Northern Arizona healthcare jobs

Assignment Length : 13-week travel nursing contract

Start Date : December 1, 2025

End Date : March 2, 2026

Facility Type : Level I Trauma Center, Teaching Hospital

Shift : 3x12-hour day shifts (07 : 00 – 19 : 00)

Hours per Week : 36 guaranteed hours (facility may call off up to 6 shifts per contract)

Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend

Patient Ratio : 4 : 1 (based on acuity)

Charting System : Cerner

Scrub Color : Any

Parking : Free onsite parking

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1550-$1660

ER Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active, unrestricted Arizona RN license or valid compact state RN license

Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room RN experience (3 years preferred)

BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications required

TNCC certification preferred

Experience in Level I or Level II Trauma Centers required

Travel nursing experience preferred

Basic pediatric nursing skills required

Proficiency with Cerner electronic health record (EHR) system

Ability to work every other weekend and 2 out of 3 major holidays during the contract

Strong clinical skills in emergency care, trauma, triage, and acute care for all age groups

ER RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate emergency nursing care in a fast-paced ER environment

Assess, triage, and manage patients of all ages, from neonates to geriatrics

Respond to trauma and medical emergencies as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Administer medications, perform nursing procedures, and monitor patient progress

Document all patient care in the Cerner EHR system

Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and clinical support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Adhere to hospital policies, patient safety protocols, and quality standards

Participate in orientation and ongoing clinical training as required
