Job Title : Nuclear Medicine Tech (Auto Offer)

Location : Lafayette, Indiana

Schedule : 40 hours / week

Shift : Day 4x10-Hour (05 : 00 - 15 : 30)

Contract Length : 13 Weeks

Pay Range for Traveler : $2,750.00- $2,819.00 Weekly DOE

Job Summary :

We are looking for a skilled nuclear medicine technologist to be responsible for the preparation and administration of radioactive drugs. Nuclear medicine technologist's responsibilities include operating imaging equipment and ensuring the safety of all medical staff and patients from unnecessary radiation exposure.

Job Responsibilities :

• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic imaging.
• Position patients, explain procedures, and ensure comfort during scans.
• Operate PET / SPECT and other nuclear imaging equipment.
• Process and analyze images of multiple organs (brain, heart, lungs, etc.).
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions to radiopharmaceuticals.
• Maintain accurate records of substances used and procedures performed.
• Produce diagnostic images for physician interpretation.
• Follow radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff.
• Inspect and maintain imaging equipment.
• Stay updated on advancements in nuclear medicine technology.
